Sony, LG and other TV makers are gearing up to promote ultra high-definition televisions, or UHDTVs, which promise four times the resolution of existing TVs and are likely to be a hot topic at next week's Consumer Electronics Show.

Definition is one way to go, certainly a good one.
HOWEVER, it seems to me that as we continue to become more and more reliant on screens to interface with the world, that having wall sized screens with multiple tiles/dashboards/feeds all simultaneously running is much more interesting.
These ultraHD screens will take awhile to get to the mainstream market, but it'll come, and then we'll be looking at Mega-Ultra-Super-Outrageous Microscopic Definition...
