McDonalds does not own BurgerKing, but Burger King's official Twitter page @burgerking is now under hacker control. The tweets say McDonalds has acquired them. Social media needs to be taken seriously!
The tweets are pretty funny actually (if you don't work for BurgerKing).
What kind of effect this will have on Burger King's sales? This can test the theory that there is NO bad publicity. PR pundits... have at it!
I wonder when the conspiracy theories will start that McDonalds is behind this hijacking... Or, that Wendy's is behind it pointing the blame on McDonalds.
No... Wendy's is too classy.
