LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sometimes you just can't wait for Comic-Con — whether you're a fan or a filmmaker.

PR has been generating buzz done for decades... if not centuries. However, now marketers are more in control of the PR process, generating buzz directly with enthusiastic consumers of their product instead of the press generating broad awareness.
Both have their place, but it seems to me much more efficient this way for a myriad of reasons.
